Program Overview

TheFrench Language Enrichment Academyis a structured educational program that provides comprehensive instruction in the French language and Francophone cultures through an immersive, standards-based curriculum.

Designed as a year-long educational enrichment program, students develop proficiency inlistening, speaking, reading, and writingwhile strengthening communication, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and intercultural awareness.

Instruction is delivered in small-group settings by qualified French educators using evidence-based language acquisition strategies, project-based learning, educational games, literacy activities, STEM integration, music, art, and hands-on experiences that promote meaningful language learning.

The program complements students' academic education by providing consistent, measurable language instruction throughout the school year.

Student Levels

Students are placed according to theirFrench language proficiencythrough an initial placement assessment to ensure instruction matches their individual learning needs.

Level 1 – French Foundations

Recommended Ages:3–6

Designed for students with little or no prior French experience.

Students develop:

Level 2 – Emerging Communicators

Recommended Ages:6–9

Designed for students who have mastered foundational vocabulary and simple conversations.

Level 3 – Developing Fluency

Recommended Ages:9–12

Designed for students with intermediate French language skills.

Level 4 – Advanced Communicators

Recommended Ages:12–17

Designed for students with advanced French language skills.
