A Waldorf-Inspired Immersion Experience
1. Rhythmic, Nature-Based Learning
Each camp day follows a gentle rhythm with morning circles, artistic exploration, outdoor adventures, storytelling, and reflection. This predictable yet dynamic structure helps children feel secure, inspired, and fully engaged.
2. French Through the Senses
Language is absorbed organically through painting, crafting, cooking, music, movement, and nature walks, no screens or rote memorization. Campers live the language through touch, song, rhythm, and imaginative play.
3. Seasonal & Cultural Exploration
Camp themes follow the seasons and Francophone traditions: from building boats for Fête de la Saint-Jean to making lavender sachets inspired by Provence. We honor cultural festivals and nature's rhythms with care and joy.
4. Storytelling at the Heart
Each day features a living story, told in French with puppetry, movement, or drawing. Stories from around the Francophone world awaken imagination and nurture vocabulary through emotion and repetition.
5. Wholesome Environment & Educators
Our caring team of French-speaking educators creates a warm, respectful environment. Inspired by Waldorf values, we emphasize gentle guidance, artistic expression, and connection over correction or pressure.
Sample Weekly Themes
Les Explorateurs des Saisons (Nature-based French scavenger hunts & seasonal art)
Le Jardin Français (Seed planting, flower pressing, cooking with herbs)
Carnaval du Monde (Mask making, movement games & songs from Francophone countries)
Contes et Couleurs (Story-led painting, puppet theatre, watercolor explorations)
Cuisine & Camp Songs (Baking, traditional songs, wooden instruments)
Camp Goals
Immerse children in joyful, natural French expression
Foster cultural appreciation and global empathy
Support bilingual development through hands-on discovery
Nurture imagination, confidence, and connection to nature
