French Immersion Creative Workshops

Once a month, children explore French through hands-on, creative activities inspired by the Waldorf method. In a mixed-age setting, they enjoy storytelling, crafts, songs, games, cooking, and artistic projects - all in French!

Each workshop combines joyful language learning, cultural discovery, and creativity. Children build confidence in French while creating something they can take home. Designed for curious learners ages 4–17.

🌿 A Waldorf-Inspired Experience

1. Language Through Imagination & Play
Children are immersed in French through storytelling, songs, games, dramatic play, and creative activities that encourage natural language learning.

2. Rhythm & Ritual
Each workshop follows a gentle and predictable rhythm: French welcome, introduction to the theme, creative exploration, hands-on activity, and group closure.

3. Nature, Craft & Culture
Children explore French and Francophone culture through art, nature, cooking, crafts, and seasonal traditions using hands-on materials.

4. Whole-Child Learning
Activities develophead, heart, and hands, supporting language development, creativity, fine motor skills, cultural awareness, confidence, and social connection.

  • December 19 – French Holiday Creations:🎄 Decorate a holiday bag

  • January 16 – La Galette des Rois:👑 Galette des Rois & crown-making

  • February 13 – Mon Panier Français:🎨 Paint and decorate a French-inspired basket

  • March 15 – French Slime Lab:🧪 Create your own slime while learning French

  • March 17 – Mon Tumbler Français:🥤 Decorate a personalized tumbler

  • April 17 – Je Peins & Je Plante:🌱 Paint a planter and plant something to take home

  • May 22 – Ma Lampe Française:💡 Paint and decorate a personalized lamp
